 Press Release - Yesterday Unveils Official Website with New Screenshots - February 3, 2012

Pendulo Studios announced today that their upcoming adventure game Yesterday has now received its very own official website. Yesterday is a much different tone of game from previous titles that Pendulo Studios developed, straying from it's usual comedic tones from Runaway and The Next BIG Thing. In Yesterday, the game's atmosphere takes on a dark and somber aura as players try to uncover a mystery as beggars are disappearing from the streets, then being found burnt alive with a weird Y-shaped scar on the palm of their hands. With the police and even the media not giving much attention, Henry White, a young and rich heir, and his friend Cooper decide to investigate. It is these two characters that players can control, as well as the enigmatic John Yesterday, who has been unfortunately brought into the investigation after his memory is wiped.

Press Release - Yesterday Releases New Images - December 27, 2011

Yesterday, the new adventure game from Pendulo Studios, has today unveiled a series of 4 new images! After having left its mark in adventure gaming with its million-selling trilogy Runaway and more recently with The Next BIG Thing, Pendulo has given up comedy for once and is offering an original dark thriller.

Today's images unveil the amnesiac John Yesterday, who is struggling with his past. These images also show that even though the tone of the game is more serious and the atmosphere a bit darker than in previous productions, Pendulo has not lost its extraordinary artistic touch, infusing Yesterday with a remarkable identity.

In New York City, beggars are disappearing one after another only to be found burnt alive. Meanwhile, Y-shaped scars form in the palms of the hands of seemingly unrelated people. With the police and the media giving little attention to these events, Henry White, a young, rich heir dedicated to charity, and his friend Cooper are the first to investigate these disappearances. They are two of the three playable characters in Yesterday, the third being none other than the enigmatic John Yesterday, who is dragged into this incredible story after his memory is completely wiped.

This is the starting point of the brand new adventure from Pendulo Studios. More will be unveiled in the coming months without spoiling the deep scenario and its numerous turning points which are sure to surprise many players when the game releases early 2012!
